Follow the example of Lord Buddha. Read his teachings. Integrate them into your life.

Live the life of a Buddhist and go to temple when you can. There is no baptism like Christianity.

No formal. Remember it is really a philosophy. If you accept and follow enough to want to refer to yourself as a Buddhist. You can do so.

Read up and follow the path. It’s not really a religion, ie no diety.
Buddha was just a guy who sat under a tree and figured out a nice way to live life.

you cant because buddhism is not exactly a religion

buddhism is a way of life that is exaggerated from hinduism

if you want to become a buddhist then you will have to change your whole lifestyle

Visit your local Shambhala Centre or other Buddhist centre. There are usually public talks you can go to.
Try reading Turning the Mind into an Ally or Ruling Your World by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.
